Description / Specifications
The PetFusion Flip Lounge Cat Scratcher is a multifunctional cat scratcher and bed. It has the same design as the older PetFusion Flip Pad Cat Scratcher, but it is quite a bit larger. It is made of high quality corrugated cardboard and has 2 large scratching surfaces since it is reversible. The PetFusion Flip Lounge Cat Scratcher comes with a white finish along the sides.

Appearance
The PetFusion Flip Lounge Cat Scratcher is much nicer looking than your typical cardboard scratcher, but it isn’t quite as fancy as some of PetFusion’s other scratchers, like the PetFusion Ultimate Cat Scratcher Lounge. But on the plus side, this cat scratcher won’t take up nearly as much space.
Owner-Friendliness
This cat scratcher is ready to be used straight out of the box with no assembly required. It is light enough to pick up and move around, but heavy enough that it won’t easily be knocked across the floor. The only real negative from an owner’s perspective is having to occasionally pick up cardboard flakes. Compared to lower quality cardboard scratchers, the PetFusion Flip Lounge is not nearly as messy. But it still requires more work than most sisal scratching posts.
Cat-Friendliness
PetFusion heard our complaints about the under-sized Flip Pad Cat Scratcher and they came out with this much larger version. The Flip Lounge is an excellent size scratcher and a very roomy lounger. Even large cats won’t have any problems using this cat scratcher. As with all of PetFusion’s cat scratchers, a small amount of Organic Catnip Leaf is included to further entice your cat to use their new toy.
After nearly 2 years of heavy use, we finally had to retire our beloved PetFusion Jumbo Cat Scratcher Lounge. The cardboard had become so shredded that Arya and Django started looking for alternative horizontal scratching surfaces – like our couch. I decided to test out the PetFusion Flip Lounge and it was an instant success. Both Arya and Django use this new PetFusion scratcher regularly.
Quality / Longevity
The PetFusion Flip Lounge Cat Scratcher is made of high-quality corrugated cardboard. It holds up very well compared to other cardboard cat scratchers, but not quite as well as sisal. We like that it is reversible. It’s kind of like getting 2 cat scratchers in one. Depending on how much use this scratcher gets, you’ll probably have to replace it every 1 to 2 years.

The PetFusion Flip Lounge Cat Scratcher is an excellent cat scratcher at a very reasonable price. We love its dual functionality as a scratcher and a bed. If you’re trying to decide between the Flip Pad and the Flip Lounge, we highly recommend spending the extra $10 to get the much larger, more cat-friendly PetFusion Flip Lounge Cat Scratcher.
If you have multiple cats, we suggest getting additional Flip Lounges or the PetFusion Jumbo Cat Scratcher Lounge so no one has to fight over a single scratcher.
